The men’s ministry of Straight
Gate International Church, The My Son’s Timothy
Ministry, was birthed by Bishop Merritt through
prayer and devotion as a means by which to provide
instruction, guidance and spiritual mentorship to
the men of Straight Gate. Very much the same way
that Timothy, in scripture, looked to and learned
from the Godly example set by the Apostle Paul.
God’s instructions on life lessons and situations
pertaining to men’s issues are expounded upon during
these meetings in a forum that sometimes lends
itself to question and answer time with Bishop
Merritt in a way not otherwise possible. The
meetings are also a time for the brotherhood to get
better acquainted with one another through
fellowship. Bros. Robert Norwood and Michael Brown
assist Bishop Merritt in this ministry that meets
for 2 hours on the 4th Saturday of each
month at 10:00 am on the third floor between the
church sanctuary and the school building. Come with
expectancy to hear from God. |
